Description
The City of Harlingen is now accepting applications for Entry Level Fire Fighter. A Civil Service Examination will be administered on Wednesday, December 16, 2026 at the Casa De Amistad at 1204 Fair Park Blvd, Harlingen, TX 78550.
To be considered for the written exam, a complete application along with the required documentation, (Driver's License, High School Diploma, Birth Certificate), must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2026.
The minimum passing grade on the exam is 70. Applicants who pass the exam will be placed on an eligibility list which will expire at the end of 12 months or until the list has been exhausted, whichever comes first.
