The City of Hampton's Public Works - Wastewater Department is seeking a Part - Time Financial Analyst to perform advanced accounting work involving the design, maintenance, preparation, and analysis of complex financial records. The class works independently reporting major activities through periodic meetings.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field of study.
- A minimum of five (5) years of full-time equivalent experience in accounting or closely related experience.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices of governmental accounting procedures required.
- Requires effective communication with internal and external customers.
- May require working beyond a standard 40-hour work week to include evenings and weekends
- The incumbent may be considered “essential personnel” during City emergency situations or at the direction of the City Manager which may include long hours and unusual schedules.
Salary : $28 - $50
