Assists with construction, inspection, and quality assurance activities on public works and development projects related to general improvements to public rights-of-way. Ensures compliance with City standards, codes, designs, and specifications. Work is performed under general directions with extensive latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Relies on experience and subject-matter expertise to apply advanced concepts, techniques, and knowledge of processes.

Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. Storm Water Erosion and Sedimentation Control Inspector, Asphalt Paving Qualification, Maintenance of Traffic, and/or Best Management Practices certification are preferred. Must have valid Florida driver’s license and maintain satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
Salary : $53,185 - $90,414
