The City of Hallandale Beach is seeking a Van Driver to transport program participants to and from various residential, medical, social, school, special event, and childcare facilities. Key Responsibilities
- Operate non-Commercial Driver License (CDL) vehicles, including 15-passenger vans, mini-vans, and other City vehicles.
- Transport program participants to and from various locations, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; one or more years of licensed passenger transport driving experience preferred.
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification required, or obtain within one year of employment.
- Valid Florida driver's license with satisfactory driving record required throughout employment.
- CPR and basic first aid training or ability to obtain within three months of employment required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger Endorsement.
- At least one year of experience transporting passengers.
