Title: Basketball Site Supervisor
Location: Greenville Area Recreation & Community Center
Reports to: Youth Recreation Programmer
Job Summary: The Greenville Area Recreation & Community Center is accepting applications for Basketball Site Supervisors. Duties include supervision of youth basketball games, set-up, tear down, customer service, and general facility operations. Qualified candidates will be sports oriented, reliable, outgoing and enjoy working with children. Must be over 18 years of age with Saturday availability.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise youth basketball games & manage officials.
- Assist volunteer coaches, parents & participants as needed.
- Responsible for set-up and clean-up of sites, including setting up tables & chairs.
- Effectively communicate and provide good customer services.
- Enforce all safety and building rules as well as facility & GARCC policies at all times.
- Complete any necessary forms and reports.
- Performs related duties as required.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and obtained a high school diploma.
- Knowledge of basketball & rules.
- Flexible weekend availability.
- Able to perform moderate lifting.
- Ability to work without close supervision, exercising mature judgment and sound decision-making.
- Punctual, hardworking, and trustworthy.
- Must pass a background check.
Compensation: Hourly, DOQ (based on previous experience & qualifications)
