- Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM (varies by shift)
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 8-20 hours per week, flexible schedule

- Hourly Employment: Roster positions are paid hourly and do not include benefits such as medical, dental, or vision insurance, life insurance, paid leave, or paid holidays.
- Limited Hours: Roster employees may work up to, but no more than, 1,000 hours in a 12-month period.
- Pension System: Roster positions are not eligible for membership in the city’s pension system.
While roster positions do not include benefits, they are often a pathway to full-time, benefited employment with the City. Many of our current full-time employees started in roster positions, and we encourage you to explore this opportunity as a potential first step in your career with us.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the front-line staff for the Griffin Recreation Center
- Field inquiries about classes, activities, events, and services with accurate information
- Manage individuals and groups using the center’s facilities
- Monitor and oversee scheduled programs, classes, and activities
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of events and maintain a clean facility
- Accurately manage reports, fees, deposits, registrations, and attendance
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
The Job is NON-EXEMPT under FLSA.
