- Hourly Employment: Roster positions are paid hourly and do not include benefits such as medical, dental, or vision insurance, life insurance, paid leave, or paid holidays.
- Limited Hours: Roster employees may work up to, but no more than, 1,000 hours in a 12 month period.
- Pension System: Roster positions are not eligible for membership in the city’s pension system.

About the Position
The Cashier / Facility Attendant plays an essential role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at Greensboro’s City Pools.
This position is responsible for cash handling, customer engagement, facility support, and general upkeep to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with the public in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Exemplify the City of Greensboro’s Core Values: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, and Stewardship.
Greet and assist guests courteously while providing accurate information about pool hours, fees, rentals, and programs.
Operate point-of-sale systems, issue receipts, balance daily cash drawers, and complete user group reports as required.
Maintain a constant connection with DigiQuatics aquatic management software for scheduling, attendance, and reporting.
Record and maintain daily attendance and revenue reports accurately.
Keep the cashier station and surrounding areas clean, organized, and stocked.
Assist with facility upkeep and light cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
Support programming activities by:
Greeting participants and assisting with setup and breakdown of rentals, programs, and events.
Collecting patron survey information during pool breaks.
Assisting in poolside activities and games.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Valid Driver's License and/or reliable transportation Ability to work as scheduled mid-May through Labor Day as scheduled Knowledgeable of safety procedures, rules, and regulations for the swimming pool facility
Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (must obtain within 1 month of hire) Prior experience working with the public Prior experience handling money
