- Conduct city background checks to include Police, Fire and civilian applicants; filing necessary background reports.
- Assist the Detective Bureau with collecting information pertaining to investigations.
- Assist with records requests, including responding to request for information and assisting with the research, compilation and dissemination of Greenfield Police Department records as mandated by the Wisconsin Open Records Law, applicable Federal and State Supreme Court decisions and Greenfield Police Department policy.
- Assist with viewing and releasing Body Worn Camera video.
- Assist with Property Room organization, storage and record keeping.
- Any other duties, as assigned.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position with a work schedule of generally 20 hours per week. The normal hours would be Monday through Friday as mutually agreed between the Command Staff and employee.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree or 60 credits towards Bachelor’s Degree in Police Science, Criminal Justice, Personnel Management or related fields plus a minimum of five consecutive years of full-time service as a Police Officer.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Possession and maintenance of a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Other Qualifications
Demonstration of effective interpersonal skills in dealing with the public and peers. Proficiency in conducting interviews. No federal felony conviction of any other offense which if committed in Wisconsin could be punished as a felony unless granted a complete and unconditional pardon. Ability to work independently with little supervision.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.

Salary and Benefits
Wages are determined by the existing Non-Represented Resolution without benefits.
