The City of Grandview is seeking a Facility Services Manager to lead the maintenance, operations, and overall functionality of our municipal facilities. You'll lead both daily operations and long-term facility improvements, making this role ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and hands-on work.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise custodial and maintenance staff
- Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facility systems
- Coordinate contractors, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Manage facility budgets and capital improvement planning
- Maintain safety standards and compliance
- Support special events, facility rentals, and seasonal operations
- Oversee irrigation systems, fountains, and spray parks
- Manage inventory, supplies, and facility work requests
- Ensure municipal buildings are safe, clean, and operational every day
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years building & grounds maintenance experience
- Valid driver’s license
- AFO or CPO certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check & physical
Preferred
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Facilities management or technical coursework
- Experience with municipal or multi-facility operations
