Position Overview:
Oversees the efficient collections, disposal, and recycling operations for commercial and residential customers. Ensures regulatory compliance (federal/state), manages waste management equipment, litter enforcement, operational budgets, supervising personnel and implementing waste reduction programs. Reports to Public Works Director.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* High School Diploma with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in a job-related
field and supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education,
training, and experience.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in waste management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
* Valid Commercial Driver's License.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
