What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tree Trimmer I position at City of Georgetown?
Position Overview:
Under general supervision, trims trees for utility power line and rights-of-way clearance. Accurately and safely completes work orders. Reports to Tree Crew Leader.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* High School Diploma supplemented by a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a job-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
* Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) license.
* ACRT certification or ability to obtain and maintain within one year of hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Must be physically able to operate a variety of heavy machines and equipment. Must be able to exert force to push, stoop, lift, reach, pull, kneel, carry, or otherwise move objects. Work involves walking and standing for periods of time. Must be able to lift/carry weights of up to 100 pounds.
Salary : $35,699 - $46,385
