Division:       Gary Health Department 

Reports to:     Executive Director 

Status:     Full Time 

Salary: $    38,366 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Under the direction of the Nursing Manager and Executive Director works in the area of public health and immunization delivery/outreach. Perform adult and children immunizations. Perform Health Card/TB testing.  Utilize the CHIRP Registry for immunization records. Must attend required continuing education workshops.  This may include travel. 

 

 

                                                      QUALIFICATIONS: 

Working knowledge of current immunization schedules 

Experience in delivering pediatric immunizations 

Medical Assistant certification 

Venipuncture and phlebotomy experience 

TB/CPR certified
