What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Design/Marketing intern position at City of Gainesville, GA?
Utilizes design software to generate content and graphics for a multitude of media outlets, including but not limited to social media, city website, magazines, billboards, email, and radio
Collaborate with personnel to develop educational marketing tools including reels, bill inserts, and social media posts for water conservation, stormwater, the "human water cycle", etc.
Create marketing content and campaigns for water utility themed time periods of the year such as Fix-A-Leak Week, Drinking Water Week, Water Quality Month, etc.
Work with department personnel to develop campaign graphics and content for each of the 4 levels of drought as determined by Georgia Environmental Protection Division.
Update current and also create new public service announcement content including website, billboard and radio PSA's and Boiled Water Advisory notices for various media outlets.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be currently enrolled in high school or university in a related field of study which applies to the Water Resources Department and have recommendation from at least 1 (one) teacher or professor.
Must possess Valid Class C Driver's License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Must be able to utilize design software for graphic design and digital illustrationWritten/ Oral communications
Communicating concepts and messages through multimedia
Follow established brand guidelines
