Normal coordination and endurance, including eye/hand, hand/foot, dexterity of hands and fingers, etc. Average accessibility of all work sites required for the position. Average exposure to weather, temperature extremes, chemicals and fumes, heights, cramped spaces, dust, loud noises, darkness, and work safety hazards.

- Provide executive oversight of utility and public works projects
- Meet with stakeholders to discuss challenges and develop a solution for those problems.
- Guide major capital improvement programs and long-term infrastructure investments.
- Represent the City in discussions with public agencies, community partners, and regional stakeholders.
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Candidates must possess:
- A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- Current registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri.
- Five years of leadership experience including responsibility for infrastructure systems, engineering operations and services, major capital programs, or public works functions.
- Success collaborating with executive teams and advancing organization-wide priorities.
- Experience leading organizational transformation and improving business processes, systems, and workforce resources.
- An advanced degree in, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience developing long-range financial strategies, assessing operational and financial risks, and conducting cost-benefit analyses.
- Current registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri.
- Or ability to obtain Missouri PE within 6 months of hire.
