RECRUITMENT PROCESS
- Step 1: Apply
- Applicants must attach a passing PELLETB or NTN score when applying.
- Scores that are within one year of the application date and that meet the minimum passing score will be accepted. Applicants can take and submit results for either of the two tests below.
- NTN Law Enforcement Exam: Minimum passing score of 65% for video, 70% for reading and 70% for writing. Virtual and in-person options are available for NTN. A screenshot of your NTN scores must be attached to your application.
- POST Entry-Level Law Enforcement Test Battery (PELLETB): Minimum passing score of 49.
- Step 2: Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ)
- Step 3: Oral Board Interview
- Step 4: Management Panel Interview
- Step 5: Physical Agility Test (waived for academy graduates)
- We accept WSTB results, which must be within one year of application date and meet the minimum passing score of 320.
- Step 6: Polygraph
- Step 7: Background
- Step 8: Executive Panel Interview
- Step 9: Conditional Offer (Final job offer is dependent on the Medical and Psychological evaluations)
