- Coordinate with city departments and external organizations

- Manage all phases of the project life-cycle from initiation to closure
- Deliver projects within scope, resources, time, and budget constraints
- Assist in developing and administering water and sewer programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in utility construction, operations, or project management
- 3-5 years’ experience in municipal public works operations, administration, or project management in a local government setting
- Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) Certificate
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Virginia, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire
