About the Position:
What You Will Do:
• Provide basic and advanced life support treatment, care, and evaluation of patients
Responsibilities:
• Identify, intervene, and stabilize the ill or injured patient under the direction and in collaboration with a physician and/or Registered Nurse.
• Initiate and implement interventions based on transport team protocols. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and treatment, as appropriate.
• Provide population specific education to the patient and family about the patient's illness and therapeutic interventions.
• Inspect, maintain, and care for equipment to ensure safety of the transport team, patients and public.
• Assures ambulance is clean, stocked and response ready at the beginning and end of every shift
• Demonstrates cardiac monitoring equipment along with advance airway and IV Supplies are in a clean and operational status
• Completing advance procedures and drug administration within the scope of care and medical protocol
• Reviewing patient care reports.

Minimum Requirements:
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• Advanced Life Support obtained from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
• CPR Card (AHA)
• Licensed Paramedic or EMT credentialed from the Kentucky Board of Emergency Services or National Registry.

- 0900-2100(12-hour shifts/flexible hours)
- Salary Compensation based on experience
- All Uniforms are provided
- $31.50/ hr for candidates with 10 or more years of experience

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Birth Certificate
- Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator's License
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must work a minimum of 2 shifts per month
