Lifeguard Schedule: Varies
Are you alert, responsible, and ready to create a safe and fun swimming environment while teaching swim skills and helping our community enjoy the water safely?
What You'll Do Monitor pools, enforce safety rules, teach swim lessons, assist with aquatic programs, and maintain pool and deck areas. Provide first aid and respond calmly to emergencies while ensuring all patrons have a safe, enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Guard pools and enforce rules to ensure patron safety
- Teach swim lessons and assist with aquatic programs
- Respond to emergencies and administer first aid as needed
- Maintain records and assist with daily reports
- Keep pool, deck, and bathhouse clean and safe
Supervisory Responsibilities None
What You Bring – Education & Experience
- Minimum of two years of high school education
- Lifeguard certification required; Water Safety Instructor preferred
- First Aid and CPR certification (Jeff Ellis & Associates, Inc.)
- Ability to apply safety rules, procedures, and standard practices
- Strong communication skills and a responsible, vigilant mindset
