Summary: Provides support to a specific area and its personnel by providing assistance to the Recreation Coordinator(s) in regard to programming for individuals of all abilities.
Work Schedule: This is a part-time, fluctuating hourly position that drives programs to various locations within the state of Colorado. Program hours vary and can occur during the day, evening and weekend hours.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to wet and /or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, extreme cold/heat, and vibration. The noise level is usually moderate and dusty conditions exist.

- Conducts positive, respectful communication with on-site recreation center staff, coworkers, and community members. Relays relevant information back to appropriate Recreation Coordinator.
- Researches and supports in the implementation of trends in programming and recreation.
- Assists in coordination of programs.
- Purchases and organizes supplies for programs as needed.
- Assist with equipment management and maintenance specific to program area.
- Collaborates with other city departments.
- Performs data entry and maintains databases and/or spreadsheets.
- Performs administrative, general clerical, filing, and special projects as assigned.
- Participates as a member of a department collaborative team.
- May drive and or lead programs.
- May assist in the support of other hourly employees.

- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Background & MVR check.
- CPR and First Aid Certification required within 60 days of hiring.
- Preferred Valid Driver’s License
