This internship will provide the chance to sit for a state certification in water treatment, an important step on the way to a great caree What You'll Be Doing As an intern, you'll assist in critical water treatment processes under the guidance of experienced professionals. Key responsibilities include: -Operate & Monitor Processes: Help manage plant flows, filtration, and effluent processing while maintaining safety and efficiency. -Lab Work & Sampling: Perform basic lab analyses, monitor online equipment, and collect water quality samples to ensure compliance with state and federal standards. -Build & Maintain Equipment: Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of plant systems, process instrumentation, and chemical handling equ -Data Management & Reporting: Maintain records for regulatory compliance, update digital systems, and contribute to reports using plant data. -Safety First: Follow safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment and assist in maintaining a clean and safe workspace. -Fieldwork: Collect data, support new system designs, and assist with equip ent setup or modifications.
