Temporary Parks Maintenance Worker

The City of Foley is hiring seasonal Parks Maintenance Workers in the Parks and Recreation Department. 

Examples of Work:

• Maintainis public areas, mowing grass, weed eating, edging, blowing, trimming trees, and shrubs. 
• Removes debris, trash, and empties trash receptacles in parks.
• Assits with cleaning restrooms.
• Assists with event set-ups and break-downs.

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must possess physical tolerance to work outside in extreme conditions and have tolerance for walking extended periods of time, bending, and lifting heavy loads.
• Must be willing to work nonstandard hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary.

Other: Successful applicants must hold a valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check (including driving record), physical, and drug screen.
