- Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Officiates games following established league regulations.
- Keeps accurate score of games.
- Participates in seasonal clinics.
- Arrives at scheduled facility on time, in proper uniform.
- Assists with facility preparation and clean up.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required Experience And Training
- General knowledge of the rules of basketball and/or volleyball, how to referee a game, and the responsibilities associated with the game as an official.
- 1-2 years’ experience officiating basketball or volleyball games.
- Arizona Interscholastic Association certificate.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as assigned.
- Required to obtain proper equipment and uniforms as needed.
- Ability to pass a written and/or practical exam on the rules of basketball and/or volleyball.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this job to ensure continuity.
