Airport Manager

Under the direction of the Airport Commission and the Mayor, the Municipal Airport Manager is responsible for the administration, operations, maintenance, and development of the City’s municipal airport. The Manager oversees airport services, facilities, personnel, and financial activities, and supports capital planning initiatives to ensure the airport operates in a safe, efficient, and fiscally responsible manner. The position exercises independent judgment within established policies and regulatory frameworks and provides recommendations to the Airport Commission on operational, financial, and policy matters. The Manager works collaboratively with local, state, and federal agencies, tenants, and community stakeholders to promote the airport as a vital component of the region’s transportation infrastructure and economic development .
