Under the general direction of the Building Commissioner, performs field and office work related to the administration, interpretation, inspection, and enforcement of the Massachusetts Plumbing Code 248 CMR: Board of Examiners of Plumbing and Gas fitters, and the provisions of MGL Chapter 142, Section 11, as well as those other duties relating to plumbing and gas installation and inspection required by any other local, state or federal law, regulation or policy. Inspects a wide variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications.
