Role Description
The City of Fayetteville is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals for the role of YRCC (Yvonne Richardson Community Center) Summer Camp Counselors. This seasonal (May - July) full-time, on-site position is based in Fayetteville, AR. Key responsibilities include supervising and engaging with children during camp activities, facilitating educational and recreational programs, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants, and fostering a positive and inclusive camp environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in working with children in camp or educational settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Lifeguarding certification or experience is a plus
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement diverse educational and recreational activities
- Enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for youth development
