School Resource Officer

The City of Farmington is currently accepting applications for two (2) immediate openings for School Resource Officers. Applicants must be Missouri POST certified and at least twenty-one years of age. A valid Missouri driver's license is required.

Duties include, but are not limited to, ensuring a safe learning environment for students and staff within the Farmington School District, building positive relationships with students and staff, community engagement, crime prevention and investigation, conducting educational programs on safety and crime prevention, and other duties as assigned. School Resource Officers are required to perform other police officer duties during times in which the Farmington School District is not in session.

The pay range for this position is $52,000 to $58,490 per year. The City offers a highly competitive benefit package adding an additional value of approximately $7.04 per hour.
