What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metered Services Technician position at City of Farmington?
The City of Farmington is accepting applications for a Metered Services Technician. Primary duties include customer relations, service connects and disconnects, electric and water meter reading, meter maintenance repair, installation and programming of Automated Meter Reading (AMR) equipment and software input and processing.
Subject to primarily outdoor working environment including a variety of extreme weather conditions, some indoor work applies. A valid Missouri driver’s license is required. Class E Missouri Driver's License is required within six months of employment.
Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with periodic increases up to $23.12 per hour. The City offers a highly competitive benefit package adding an additional value of approximately $6.77 per hour.
