What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Laborer - Golf Maintenance position at City of Fairfield (OH)?
Must be 16 or older to apply.
- Cut grass, weed eat and trim at South and North Trace Golf Courses and aquatic center.
- Maintain and repair facilities grounds; trim bushes, trees and shrubs; perform rough carpentry and concrete work; paint buildings and facilities; perform minor custodial duties as assigned and spread mulch throughout the golf courses.
- Empty trash cans and pick up trash around the course.
- In a safe and effective manner operate equipment such as tractor, mower, dump truck, pickup truck, chain saw, and various other hand and power tools.
- Manually shovel and move salt, dirt, snow etc.; lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Conduct work in all kinds of weather, pleasant, inclement and hazardous.
- Any other duties that are assigned by the Heads Greenskeeper.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
- Must be willing and able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including significant heat.
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License.
