Current Opportunity: Library Director
The City of Escanaba is currently accepting applications for the position of Library Director at the Escanaba Public Library.
Position Highlights
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for library operations, programs, services, and staff.
- Collaborate with the Library Board of Trustees, City Manager, and community partners.
- Manage budgets, grants, technology initiatives, and public services.
- Promote lifelong learning, community engagement, and access to information.
- Lead outreach, marketing, and public relations efforts for the library.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited program.
- Library of Michigan Level 2 Professional Certificate
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, personnel management, technology planning and community engagement.

$70,000, dependent on qualifications.
