JOURNEYMAN OR APPRENTICE LINEMAN
The City of Escanaba, Michigan, has a job opening for the full time position of Apprentice or Journeyman Lineman.
A Lineman is a skilled trade position responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of primary and secondary power lines and related components of City electric distribution system, including both overhead and underground systems.
Applicants must be able to work safely in high places and in confined spaces, have a high school diploma, and possess a Class A CDL license, or the ability to obtain one within 60 days. Apprentice applicants must possess a Vocational Diploma as an Electrical Line Technician.
Starting pay is $36.41/hour for an Apprentice Lineman, and $50.57/hour for a Journeyman, along with a competitive fringe benefits package.
