POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for leading facility maintenance(grounds and overall cleanliness) of Pirates Cove Family Aquatic Center. This person will perform all duties necessary to maintaining the bathhouse, grounds, Swimming Pools and all buildings in addition to janitorial product ordering and inventory of cleaning items and products. This person will assist in supervision of the maintenance staff for daily shifts. Must be able to take initiative and work well without direct supervision. Must be able to perform general cleaning duties of the pool and deck area.
While performing the essential duties of this job, this position is required to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb, balance, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and move objects and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds frequently. Hours include early morning and evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Requires excellent customer service skills.

- Leads daily Maintenance staff
- Cleaning/mopping tile areas
- Emptying waste receptacles
- Cleaning of shower and toilet areas
- Vacuuming of pool
- Deck cleaning
- Picking up debris inside and outside of facility grounds
- Vacuuming swimming pools
- Maintaining swimming pool equipment
- Maintaining swimming pool standards set forth by the State of Colorado Health Department
- Records daily, weekly, monthly logs as required
- All duties necessary to maintain a clean and safe facility
- Routine inventory of janitorial supplies
PREPARATION AND TRAINING
Any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for excellent job performance. Employee must have one year experience in custodial or general maintenance. A combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for excellent job performance may be considered.

HOURLY PAY RANGE
$15.46 - $23.20/Hourly Rate
Anticipated Starting Rate: $16.46/Hourly Rate
