Education and Experience: Candidate must have a High School Diploma, GED, or higher, and three (3) years of customer service experience in a public service, nonprofit, government, or community-facing role.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid Texas Class “C” Driver’s License or equivalent from another state by the date of appointment.
Provide constituent service. Involves: Assisting constituents with inquiries and concerns related to City departments and services, providing information, referrals, and follow-up until resolution. Responding to constituent inquiries by phone, email, in person, and at community meetings. Assist with community meetings, neighborhood association engagement, and outreach events that support District initiatives. Serve as a liaison between residents and City departments, community organizations, and partner agencies. Monitor recurring constituent issues or patterns to inform the City Representative of emerging concerns or systemic problems.
Receive, review, and prepare constituent work requests. Involves: Draft letters, emails, memos, and follow-up correspondence. Elevate complex or unresolved constituent issues to the City Representative to support timely and effective resolution. Log, track, and document all cases using a constituent management system and maintain organized administrative records. Support daily office operations, including scheduling, filing, research, and general administrative tasks. Perform other duties as assigned.
