Starting Hourly Wage: $24.07 (depending on experience)
About this Position
The Finance Coordinator completes basic accounting duties such as analyzing info, assisting with accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), compiling financial data, monitoring financial accounting activities, and more. They are exposed to all aspects of the Finance Department with concentration in specific areas as directed.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field (finance, business administration, etc.)
- 3 years of related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier
Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical/administrative tasks such as:
- Answering phone calls
- Filing and mailing
- Completing data entry tasks (and checking accuracy of data)
- Prepare, create, and maintain data for entry for AR, AP, treasury management, revenue recognition, general ledger, etc.
- Analyze data and review data entries and results
- Assist with creating reports and research
- Assist with testing and implementing software
Necessary Skills
- Ability to meet the required physical standards for this position
- Ability to pass extensive background process and pre-employment drug and audio screenings
