A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CYBERSECURITY ANALYST
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you monitor the City's private and public networks for security incidents, implement security software, investigate and document security issues. Your work typically involves writing, editing, and proofreading site content. Your job is essential to the city, you collaborate with the Cyber Security Officer to develop and recommend policies, procedures, and standards that align with the City's objective. You are constantly on your toes and ready for any new and unexpected challenges that may arise in the city. This can include assisting with assigned projects, provide exceptional technology support to staff and management, and work closely with the entire technology team to achieve departmental goals. You enjoy being helpful and have no problem providing assistance and support to other divisions within the department as needed. The city needs someone like you with skills in information technology and you finding genuine enjoyment in what you do!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CYBERSECURITY ANALYST
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field
Master's Degree in related field.
Three (3) years' experience in related field.
