Job Title: Library Clerk (Part-Time)
Department: Library
Reports To: Director
Hourly: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
Ecorse Public Library seeks an enthusiastic and customer service-oriented candidate for a part-time position in the Circulation Department.
Responsibilities:
· Welcome patrons and provide directions, instructions, and help with technology.
· Checks materials in and out.
· Handle fines, payments, and receipts.
· Processes returned materials, holds, and other items from TLN delivery.
· Search and maintain patron records, ensuring accuracy and privacy.
· Issue library cards.
· Sort and shelve library materials.
· Open and close the library building.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Customer Service experience.
· Computer/copy machine experience.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
