The Finance & Operations Analyst serves as the primary financial advisor and budget partner for the Office of Prosperity, supporting programs across tourism, economic development, housing, and community events. The starting pay for this position is between $66,434 and $73,077 per year, with opportunities for growth up to $93,007 per year based on long-term growth and performance within the role.

What You’ll Do In This Role
- Lead annual budget development, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for Prosperity Office programs and funds
- Develop scenario modeling and long-range projections to support policy, funding, and program decisions Monitor financial performance, analyze trends and variances, and provide clear recommendations to leadership
- Prepare and present financial reports, budget narratives, and materials for department leadership, advisory boards, and commissions
- Oversee financial components of grants, contracts, and intergovernmental agreements, including compliance requirements
- Serve as the primary point of connection between the Prosperity Office and the Finance Department on budgeting, purchasing, and financial processes Translate citywide financial policies into practical guidance for programs and staff and support consistent application across the department
- Support continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting tools, and internal processes
- Collaborate with other City departments to support operational and budget-related decisions
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, tourism, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered in place of a degree.
- Two years of experience in budgeting, financial management, accounting, or operations administration.
- Can break down complex financial information into clear, useful insights for a variety of audiences.
- Are comfortable working with various partners, including leadership, staff, and advisory boards.
