The Town of Dunkirk is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve full - time as a Deputy Clerk and Zoning & Planning Secretary. Ideal candidate should be available Monday-Friday for 8 hours per day. The Deputy assists the Town Clerk in all phases of work and is deputized to act for and on behalf of the Town Clerk. The individual selected for the position must be able to effectively interact with members of the Town Board, public, and fellow employees in a polite courteous and professional manner and perform the duties of the Town Clerk when she is out of the office. The ideal candidate shall have a high school diploma, must be proficient in QuickBooks Plus with exposure to a networked environment using Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, and Access.
