Salary: $93,512.97 - $130,940.74 Annually, depending on qualifications and experienceWork Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage Finance and Utility Billing operations with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Serve as the City's Investment Officer, Public Funds Custodian, and Financial Risk Manager.
- Oversee budget development, financial reporting, and coordinate external audits.
- Develop and enforce policies that protect and strengthen City assets.
Advise on major capital projects, pension programs, and long-term financial strategies.
Represent the City in public meetings, on committees, and at professional conferences.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: 6 years in governmental accounting, including leadership roles—or equivalent qualifications.
Skills: Strong leadership abilities, municipal finance expertise, and proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
Certifications: CPA, CGFM, or CPFO highly desirable.
