- Pay: $24.24 – $26.76 per hour (DOE)
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, plus a rotating on-call schedule
What You’ll Do:
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and boiler systems
- Apply chemicals for vector and weed control programs
- Maintain City cemeteries and public properties
- Operate heavy equipment for groundskeeping and snow removal
- Complete routine and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Assist in training new and seasonal team members
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of buildings or grounds maintenance experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Requirements (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire):
- Valid driver’s license
- ND Class B CDL (permit within 3 months; full CDL within 6 months, with air brakes and automatic transmission)
- Vector Control Certification (Public Health)
- Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification (Ground Core, Right of Way, Ornamental Turf)
- Forklift and Bucket Truck Certification
