- Install signs and dig postholes.
- Paint, clean and maintain signs.
- Operate grinder.
- Install and take down barricades and/or aerial banners.
- Drive sign and/or bucket truck.
- Perform work on traffic controls.
- Knowledge of traffic sign installation procedures.
- Knowledge of operations of simple paints spraying equipment.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to assemble signs.
- Ability to generate simple street signs using sign equipment.
- Ability to measure for layout of road markings.
- Skill in the use of common hand tools.
- Basic math skills.
- Skill in reading and writing the English language.
- High School graduation or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
- Entry level mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Must possess a Level I IMSA certification or obtain it within one (1) year from the hire date.
- Must possess a valid Florida Class B, CDL, or obtain it within six months from hire.
