- Removes broken and cracked concrete. Forms, grades, pours and finishes concrete; strips forms.
- Cuts and removes damaged asphalt. Levels ground with rock and replaces with hot asphalt and rolls it with a roller.
- Grades shell rock roads using loader or tractor with box blade.
- Cuts and re-sods swale areas.
- Repairs, maintains and constructs storm drains using power tools and heavy
- equipment.
- Cleans up canals.
- Maintains and services equipment.
- High school graduation or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
- One (1) year construction experience including six (6) months in concrete or asphalt construction.
- Must obtain Level I, I.M.S.A. certification within one year of date of hire.
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License, Class B, CDL, with Air Brake endorsement, within six months from hire.
