MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in emergency, disaster, and/or crisis management, aviation/airline management, project management.
EXPERIENCE:
- Four (4) years of experience in one or more of the following categories:
- Emergency
- Disaster and/or
- Crisis management
- Aviation/airline management
EQUIVALENCES:
- High school diploma or GED plus eight (8) years of required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
- Associate degree in any field plus six (6) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
- Bachelor degree (or higher) in a non-specified field plus six (6) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
- Master’s Degree in a non-specified filed plus two (2) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Incident Command System (ICS) training in: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800, IS-201, IS-235, and IS-318 Required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be available for 24/7 emergency management and preparedness activities.
- Must pass TSA background check.
- Per FAA Advisory Circular 150/5210-20, selected candidates must be able to demonstrate a functional knowledge of the English language.
PREFERENCES:
- ICS-300, ICS- 400, G-2300, and preferred.
- Project Management Certification preferred.
- FEMA Professional Development Series preferred.
- IAEM AEM/CEM preferred.
- AAAE Airport Certified Employee (ACE) preferred.
Salary Range
$64,252.45 - $79,800.20
The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.
