What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation: Playground Leader position at City of Cottage Grove?
These positions will be responsible for programming, planning and supervising activities for youth ages 4-13 years old. Activities include arts and crafts, games, special events, and many other fun things. Experience in a recreation or youth leadership position is preferable. Leaders should have broad knowledge of games, sports, and crafts skills. Must be able to work well with children and should possess great leadership skills. Leaders will be assigned to work up to 40 hours per week.
Training: June 8 & 9, 2026 | Summer: June 10 - Sept 1, 2026
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:15-3:45pm or 8:15-4:45pmApplications will be reviewed as soon as they are submitted.
- Ensure that set-up and services meet customer specifications
- Greet families upon arrival
- Deal with customer requests and complaints
