What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events and Hospitality Intern position at City of Colleyville?
Under direct supervision of the Colleyville Center and Business Center Manager, the purpose of this position is to provide technical and/or administrative support for a variety of departmental functions including but not limited to: office administration, event concierge, sales, tours, social media, and city events. Performs other related work as required.

The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein if such duties are a logical assignment to the position.- Provides office support to Colleyville Center staff, including but not limited to, respond to phone inquiries of the venue, tours, social media assistance, event coordinating, and filing.
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, integrates and implements detail schedules for events to achieve established goals.
- Ensures all policies and procedures are followed for events
- Maintains good employee relations through timely and accurate response to questions and concerns
- Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers and others in the course of daily work.
- Regular and timely attendance are required for this position.
- Must be in the process of acquiring a Bachelor’s Degree with completion of at least 90 credit hours in Hospitality or closely related field.
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Texas Driver’s License.
