What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tennis Lesson Instructor position at City of Cleveland Heights?
Primary responsibility is to provide high quality customer service to participants while instructing group and individual tennis lessons in a safe and professional manner.
- Ability to instruct both private and group tennis lessons for all ages and levels of player.
- Assist the program director with the annual tennis camp.
- Enforce all program policies, rules and regulations in a fair, consistent, and professional manner.
- Inspect tennis courts on a regular basis prior to use and report any damage or unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other co-workers.
- Ensure proper usage of all equipment.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Leadership and Public Relations Skills.
- Good decision-making skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Prior experience in tennis instruction preferred
- Must be proficient in the game of tennis
