Custodial Laborer (Part-Time)

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs a variety of cleaning functions before/after events and special projects with and without the use of mechanical equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

• Clean and sanitize the men's and women's locker rooms.
• Clean the kitchen and golf course restroom.
• Performs vacuuming of banquet spaces as needed, especially during weeks with multiple events.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum common areas as needed.
• Spot clean windows, entry doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Ensure all equipment is properly stored after use.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor promptly.
• Follow venue policies, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Restock all restrooms with paper products, soap, and other supplies.
• Assist with seasonal or deep-cleaning projects, including cleaning coolers, warming ovens, trash cans, and other facility equipment.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned

• Ability and knowledge of cleaning equipment functions.
• Ability to understand and carry out written and oral directions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assigned duties efficiently.
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with coworkers, guests, and the public.
• Ability to establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with other employees.
• Ability to maintain reliable attendance and work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, perform physical tasks including bending, standing, walking, and lifting.
• Ability to follow applicable workplace safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in custodial work or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.

Pay: $11.67 - $13.50 per hour
