Duties

- Enforce traffic laws, issuing citations for violations and conducting traffic stops.
- Manage conflict situations effectively, employing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations until medical personnel arrive.
- Care for animals when necessary, ensuring their safety and well-being during incidents.
- Collaborate with community members to promote crime prevention initiatives and build positive relationships.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in leadership, report writing, loss prevention, and other relevant areas.
Experience
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent; curent TECOLE license. Successful applicants will have demonstrated experience or skills in the following areas:
- Driving safely under various conditions while operating police vehicles.
- Leadership abilities that inspire confidence within the community.
- Certification in CPR and first aid.
- Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques.
- Experience in loss prevention strategies.
- Proficiency in report writing for accurate documentation of incidents.
