Part-Time Clerk
Department: Health
Employment Status: Non-Exempt; UFCW 1459 Admin; Part-Time
(17.5 Hours/Week)
Pay Grade: Grade A03; Step 01 – Step 04
Salary Range: $19.45/Hour - $25.66/Hour
Schedule: Mon – Fri; 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Certifications/Licenses Required: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
SUMMARY
The City of Chicopee’s Health Department is hiring a Part-Time Clerk who will be responsible for answering the phones, filing reports, and assisting the public. The Clerk is responsible for general office duties assigned by the Principal Clerk.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Computer literate.
- Assist Principal Clerk in general office duties.
- Will receive supervision from Principal Clerk.
- Record complaints and concerns from the public.
- File reports from inspectors.
- Assist the public at the front counter.
- Answer phone calls and record messages.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience. - Required
