The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Library Branch Manager – Sunset Library. The position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends on a rotational basis with branch staff.
This opportunity is only open to: 1) current regular City of Chandler employees, 2) those participating in a city approved internship or apprenticeship program, and 3) temporary employees who are paid through the city payroll system. Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

We are looking for someone to collaboratively engage as a critical member of the library leadership team, supervise and oversee daily library branch operations, coordinate assigned library services and ensure the provision of excellent services to library patrons.

- A Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or a related Degree; and
- 5 years of general library experience with 1 year of supervisory experience; and
- A valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Master’s degree in library science or a related Degree
- 3 years of department/branch leadership experience in a public library
- Experience in youth, teen, and adult library programming or education
