- Sell tickets for the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts.
- Accept payment and make change.
- Answer questions concerning prices, schedules, and provide information concerning upcoming attractions.
- Keely daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold.
- Assists in patron upgrades, group sales processing and updating content on website.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Computerized ticketing system and ticket office procedures.
- Basic bookkeeping functions.
- Modern box office equipment and procedures including familiarity with compute and date processing systems.
- Cash, credit card or other revenue transactions.
- Customer service techniques and telephone etiquette.
- Perform basic bookkeeping procedures.
- Work effectively with the public, co-workers and supervisors.
- Balance daily sales transactions.
- Perform ticket sales transactions accurately.
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: Six (6) months of experience performing ticket sales and/or cash, credit card or other revenue transactions in a customer service environment.

- Work is performed in an office environment.
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time using a computer keyboard and screen.
- Standing, walking and may twist, reach, bend crouch and kneel.
- May also grasp, push, pull drag and lift boxes of files and other office items weighing up to thirty (30) pounds.
- Mobility, vision, hearing, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties to be performed.
